Collaborators: Houriiyah Tegally & San James, Stellenbosch, South Africa & Moritz Kraemer, John Brittain, Joseph Tsui, Oxford, UK

Summary: GRAPEVNE (https://grapevne.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) is an interactive environment for building and validating data processing workflows built around Snakemake. The grapevine is a symbol of growth, development, and productivity, highlighting the software’s ability to help users grow and develop their analytical pipelines. It was originally focussed on solving phylogenetic problems, but has developed to support a broad range of use-cases. This software will aid the CLIMADE consortium in standardizing and disseminating analytical workflows seamlessly especially when it concerns large epidemiological, genomic and environmental datasets.

Activity type: Software development project

CLIMADE team: Africa, Europe
