Summary: We were invited to participate in this new monthly column in Science Magazine. We decided to write and publish a short piece as a call for action towards the dangers of climate change and epidemics. Engagement on the piece has been very large showing the interest that the general community holds towards this pressing issue. The aim of this exercise was to raise awareness, which is as important an activity to engage in as research for scientists.
