We invite applications from three postdoctoral researchers with an interest in developing into professional Research Software Engineers (RSEs). Research Software Engineer (RSE) is an exciting new role for researchers with an interest and aptitude for the computational aspects of research and is of growing importance internationally.
Interested candidates holding a PhD, and with clear evidence of internationally competitive research are invited to send their CV’s and discuss their interest (which is not restricted to the abovementioned fellowship topic) informally with Prof. Tulio de Oliveira and Dr Kim Martin in the first instance, prior to formal application. Candidates without PhD and strong programming background will also be considered for fellowship.
