On November 18, the deployment of the NAVIO Project activities began, a journey that will extend until December 10. The team aboard the Lieutenant Maximiano Hospital Assistance Ship, from the Brazilian Navy, is committed to providing assistance to the riverside population along the banks of the Paraguay River. During this mission, medical, ophthalmological, and dental services will be offered to the community, along with real-time examinations for the identification of key pathogens. The project also encompasses the collection of samples of wastewater and animals, aiming to investigate the main circulating pathogens in a silent manner.
